Exciting opportunities are available for radiologists in the beautiful region of southern New England.

Location 1: Rhode Island
A second board-certified (or residency-trained) radiologist is sought to join a busy radiology service in a large veterinary hospital, which currently houses over 50 doctors and spans 26,000 sq. ft., with plans for an expansion to add an additional 10,000 sq. ft. The team includes a full-time radiologist responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, interpreting all radiographs for both hospitals, reading CT scans and select MRI scans, managing the radioactive iodine treatment program, and providing teleradiology services for referring veterinarians. This position also involves the teaching of interns, residents, and externs.

Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Includes:

  • Aplio 700 ultrasound unit

  • Digital radiography

  • 64-slice GE CT scanner

  • 1.5 Tesla Siemens MRI unit

  • Fluoroscopy unit

The facility features a diverse team of specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, surgery, radiology, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, and avian/exotics. Additionally, residents are present in Emergency/Critical Care and Surgery, alongside a well-established internship program. The emergency service is staffed by over twenty experienced, internship-trained clinicians, supported by highly skilled technicians specializing in emergency and critical care nursing.

Location 2: Swansea, MA
A small ER/specialty hospital in Swansea is undergoing renovations on a new 36,000 sq. ft. building, scheduled to open in summer 2024. The current facility offers full-time surgery, internal medicine, and emergency services.
