​A unique opportunity has opened up for an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a thriving, well-established primary care veterinary practice just outside of Austin, Texas. About the Practice:
This modern and welcoming practice offers comprehensive care to pets in Cedar Park, North Austin, Leander, and Georgetown. With a compassionate support team and a commitment to continuous learning, this practice focuses on providing the highest standard of care to its clients and patients. The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule for its team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the medical team to deliver exceptional veterinary care and ensure excellent client satisfaction.

  • Mentor and train veterinarians and support staff to maintain high standards of care.

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and collaborate with other veterinarians and staff to provide outstanding service.

  • Contribute to the clinic’s culture of learning and development, supporting staff with ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.

  • Valid veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one) in Texas.

  • Proven experience in veterinary practice, with leadership or management experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
