A reputable animal hospital in Ottawa is seeking a team-oriented and flexible full-time Veterinarian to join its General Practice team. The successful candidate will understand the importance of building strong relationships with pet parents and the support team to provide the best care possible. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and provide nutritional advice.
  • Build relationships with pet parents and work alongside a supportive team to deliver exceptional care.

  • Engage in mentoring and coaching students through their DVM journey.
  • Participate in continuing education and network with peers.

Qualifications:

  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada.
  • Experience in soft tissue surgeries, preventative care, and nutritional guidance.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication in English; French is an asset.
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring students.
  • Interest in attending conferences and staying current with industry developments.
  • A deep love for all companion animals.
