About the Role:

  • Specialist Care: The center provides a comprehensive range of specialized services, including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Emergency, and Avian & Exotics care.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of specialists and emergency doctors in a supportive and collegial setting. Regular in-house and county-wide Continuing Education (CE) opportunities ensure that the team stays at the forefront of veterinary medicine.
  • Dual Locations: Emergency services are offered across two locations, with seamless case transfers to the specialty center located in La Mesa.
  • Patient Care: Emphasis on high-quality medical care and service for both patients and referring veterinarians.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Starting at $150,000 - $300,000 annually, plus production opportunities (no negative accrual).

Candidate Requirements:

  • DVM/VMD or equivalent degree.
  • Active State Veterinary Board License and DEA license (or eligibility).
  • Board Certification or Residency Training in Critical Care.
