Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 annually (plus potential sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance)
Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts per week
Overview:
A Criticalist or Hospitalist position is available with a renowned veterinary specialty hospital in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to help shape and expand the critical care department within a state-of-the-art, 15,000 sq. ft. facility. Proficiency in abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy is preferred, and experience in surgery is a bonus but not required.
About the Facility:
The facility was remodeled in 2019 and is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies, including:
14 exam rooms, 3 outpatient procedure rooms, 2 treatment areas, and 4 surgery suites.
A dedicated imaging center featuring advanced equipment such as 3 GE Logiq ultrasound machines, a 1.5 High Field Hallmarq MRI, GE Light Speed CT, C-Arm & fluoroscopy, and echocardiography.
A custom ICU suite plus 2 additional ICU areas.
Advanced tools including two Snyder oxygen cage banks, high-flow O2, mechanical ventilators, dialysis, and endoscopy.
A blood bank with FFP and packed red cells, along with additional products available from a nearby referral center.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide emergency and critical care to a variety of complex cases.
Work alongside specialists in a collaborative environment to manage high-acuity patients.
Expand and shape the critical care department to meet evolving needs.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and treatment modalities to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
Qualifications:
Board-certified Criticalist or Hospitalist, or residency-trained in Emergency and Critical Care.
Proficiency in abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy preferred.
Experience and interest in surgery a plus but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary starting at $200,000 with production bonuses.
