The Role & Why It’s Unique:
As a General Practice Veterinarian, the individual will enjoy a schedule that aligns with traditional GP hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM (appointments), 8:30 AM – 6 PM (in the building)
- Saturday: 8 AM – 1 PM
- Days off: Half-day Saturday, all day Sunday, and Wednesday
This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of general practice at the clinic. The veterinarian will play a key role in developing and growing the practice’s offerings, collaborating with specialists, and driving client education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building the GP Practice: Developing and refining geriatric, puppy, and wellness care packages to better serve clients.
- Collaborating with Specialists: Working alongside a physical therapist to integrate physical therapy into GP care and provide the best wellness solutions.
- Client Education: Leading efforts to educate clients through creating resources and personalized recommendations for improving patient outcomes.
- Leadership Opportunities: As the practice grows, the veterinarian will have the opportunity to help hire and mentor additional team members, shaping the culture and philosophy of the clinic.
