Job Responsibilities

  • Patient and Client Care: Ensure the ethical treatment of all animal patients and caregivers, focusing on health, safety, and excellent service.
  • Medical Services: Provide quality care in various areas including walk-ins, routine care, urgent care, massage therapy, and specialized programs like the Canine Blood Donation Program and Service Dog Registry.
  • Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with hospital employees to ensure smooth processes and services.
  • Community Involvement: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, contributing to the center’s growing presence in the community.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: All levels of experience are welcomed; newly graduated veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
  • Licensing: Must have a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Skills: Proficiency in practice management software, EMRs, MS Office (Word and Excel), and the ability to integrate feedback and collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
