An exciting opportunity is available for an Associate Veterinarian to join a growing team in a beautiful, all-season community. This role is open to new graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) and experienced DVMs. The position offers the unique possibility of stepping into a Lead DVM role for those passionate about mentoring and making a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offer nutritional advice.
  • Build lasting relationships with pet parents and colleagues through compassionate communication and exceptional care.
  • Foster a team-based approach to medicine.
  • Mentor and coach students throughout their DVM journey.
  • Participate in continuing education and network with peers to stay updated with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Ontario.
  • Experience in soft tissue surgeries, preventative care, and nutritional guidance.
  • A commitment to team-based medicine and collaborative care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with colleagues, pet parents, and the community.
  • A passion for mentoring and coaching students.
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues.
