Position Overview
As a GP Veterinarian, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining a high-performing medical team. Working closely with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and compassionate veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Excellence
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including complete history, physical exams, and diagnostics.
- Interpret test results accurately and create tailored treatment plans.
- Perform surgeries and diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
Client Engagement
- Educate pet owners on diagnostics, treatment options, and patient status.
- Communicate costs transparently and document client interactions thoroughly.
Team Leadership
- Cultivate a supportive environment based on trust, accountability, and teamwork.
- Mentor veterinary technicians and assist in their professional growth.
- Provide feedback to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Operational Support
- Collaborate on inventory management, staff scheduling, and resource optimization.
- Participate in rounds, evaluate protocols, and ensure compliance with AAHA standards.
Professional Growth

- Train staff through mentorship and organized sessions.
Skills and Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active state veterinary license and DEA registration.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical practice, with a track record of leadership.
- Proficient in diagnostics, surgery, and patient care.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD annually.
