Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity in California

A growing veterinary practice is seeking a board-certified veterinary surgeon to join its dedicated team. This practice is committed to improving the lives of pets and the people who love them, offering a fulfilling work-life balance and the opportunity to take pride in the medicine practiced.

Located near Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, the practice provides access to a range of outdoor activities while being close to the Bay Area, all without the high cost of city living. A competitive salary starting at $200,000 base, plus production, bonuses, and continuing education allowances, is offered.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

  • Residency trained or DACVS-SA boarded

  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing

Equipment Available:

  • Imaging: CT, digital radiographs, ultrasound

  • ICU Medical Equipment: Complete diagnostic lab, oxygen therapy, continuous ECG monitoring

  • Orthopedic Equipment: Stryker drivers, TPLO saws, IMEX ex-fix sets, VOI locking plates (2.0-3.5)

  • Laparoscopic and Soft Tissue: 5.0 mm Storz scope, harmonic scalpel, Ligasure, TA staplers

  • Arthroscopic: Stryker 2.7 mm, 2 mm scope with small joint instruments, Stryker shavers
