Job Description
This urgent care facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced veterinarian to join a dedicated team committed to delivering the highest quality care.
The clinic operates daily from 2 PM to 10 PM, including weekends and holidays, ensuring that pets receive urgent care when they need it most. There is no overnight hospitalization; instead, patients are transferred to a nearby emergency and specialty center for continued care. The close working relationship between the two facilities ensures seamless consultations and patient transfers.
The newly designed hospital features an open floor plan with a welcoming waiting area, two exam rooms equipped with drop-down tables, a large treatment area, ample kennel space, and a doctor’s office overlooking the treatment area. The clinic is equipped with a comprehensive pharmacy and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including in-house Idexx bloodwork, digital X-ray, and a Vscan Air portable ultrasound. The well-trained staff handles many routine tasks, allowing the veterinarian to focus on patient care.
The clinic uses ezyVet software for record-keeping, streamlining the process and reducing charting time by half. Each shift includes a doctor, four skilled technicians/assistants, and a receptionist, with many staff members trained in emergency care.
