Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $140,000 plus production bonuses

Position Overview: The Soft Tissue Surgeon Veterinarian will help develop and maintain a high-quality, efficient medical team by fostering an environment of trust, teamwork, and accountability. The veterinarian will work closely with management and report directly to regional leadership.
Essential Position Functions:
Conduct comprehensive patient work-ups, including obtaining complete histories and performing thorough physical exams.
Communicate medical findings and recommendations effectively to pet owners.
Perform appropriate pre-op exams, diagnostics, and surgeries using best practices.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records following AAHA guidelines.
Manage pharmacy duties, including prescribing medications and controlled substances.
Promote teamwork and a positive, collaborative work environment.
Accurately estimate client invoices and communicate costs clearly.
Share knowledge from CE meetings and assist with staff training.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college or university.
Current State Veterinary License.
DEA registration (must be obtained and maintained).
Experience overseeing Veterinary Technicians and Assistants.
Commitment to continued learning and staff training.
