Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-equipped small animal and exotic practice, With first and second-opinion services, you'll have the chance to work with a varied caseload, including exotics, in a supportive and friendly environment.
Role:
As part of their skilled team of vets, nurses, and animal care assistants, you'll deliver exceptional care to both small animals and, if interested, exotics. If you have a passion for exotic species, they can tailor your caseload to match your interests.
Find Your Balance
This role is typically full-time, working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, with weekend rota participation and no out-of-hours. They're happy to consider part-time and flexible working arrangements to help you achieve the right balance.
About them:
This practice is well-known for its expertise in exotic medicine. Their recently refurbished practice offers modern facilities, including four consulting rooms, an exotic ward, surgical theatre, prep room, radiography, ultrasonography, and in-house pathology and dental facilities. They foster a family-like culture and a supportive working environment, with great transport links for weekend adventures!
Their team includes dedicated RVNs, many trained in exotic species, along with a student nurse and experienced reception staff. They actively support further training and development in areas of interest, including certificates.
Salary:
Up to £55,000 DOE
