​This well-established, progressive small animal emergency practice is located in Blue Ridge, GA. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including in-house lab work, radiology, ultrasonography, and comprehensive hospitalization capabilities, including isolation and oxygen support. The practice provides vital emergency and after-hours care and is the only ER within a 2-hour radius.

Located in the scenic Blue Ridge area, the practice benefits from excellent local public schools and is close to both Atlanta and Chattanooga, making it ideal for those seeking a balance between work and outdoor activities. Position Overview:
The practice is seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. Candidates should be proficient in general medicine and surgery. While experience is preferred, new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency medical care for a variety of conditions, including GI issues, toxicities, cardiovascular and renal cases.

  • Perform emergency surgeries such as GDVs, foreign body removals, C-sections, pyometras, and more.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional support.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.

  • Current DEA License or ability to obtain upon hire.

  • Active Veterinary State License.

  • USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire.
