​An established general practice in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Medical Director to lead their feline-focused veterinary hospital. This role offers the opportunity to drive positive change and growth within the hospital while shaping the vision and fostering an exceptional culture that maintains high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the practice manager and leadership team to develop strategies and implement improvements that guide the hospital toward excellence in patient and client care.

  • Support staff development while promoting a culture of kindness, encouragement, and open communication.

  • Mentor veterinarians to achieve medical excellence and enhance patient care and outcomes through collaboration with practice managers and hospital leadership.

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.

  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of employment, prior to the start date.

  • Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.
