​A well-established veterinary hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a leadership role within their dynamic team. This opportunity allows you to guide and develop a high-quality medical team, working closely with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

Position Overview:

  • Oversee patient care, including comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and surgeries.

  • Lead client communication efforts, ensuring clear and compassionate discussions about diagnoses and treatment plans.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in line with industry standards.

  • Manage pharmacy duties, including medication prescriptions and controlled substance regulations.

  • Provide leadership to the veterinary team, fostering an environment of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Handle financial responsibilities, including cost estimates and efficient use of hospital resources.

Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on staffing, financial planning, and operational strategies.

  • Assist in mentoring and training medical staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.

  • Resolve client concerns and oversee daily hospital operations.

  • Participate in practice growth initiatives, marketing efforts, and long-term planning.

Qualifications:

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.

  • Valid veterinary license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

  • A minimum of 5 years of veterinary experience, with leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and a focus on client education.

Salary & Benefits:
