Our client who we are delighted to be working with are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team.
About them:
Their team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant, and 2 Receptionists. They are a small animal practice operating from modern, purpose-built facilities in central Stafford, equipped to handle more complex cases with the support of certificate holders.
Role:
Your role will cover a variety of tasks, including nursing, theatre duties, consultations, mentoring students, and basic animal care. Consultations typically run from 8:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm, with breaks in between. You'll also assist with pre-op checks, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anaesthesia, and caring for inpatients.
Flexible Work-Life Balance:
They value work-life balance and offer a typical rota of four 10-hour days per week, with 1 in 5 Saturdays from 8:30am-4:00pm, and no out-of-hours work. They welcome applications from those seeking part-time or flexible working hours to accommodate personal commitments.
Salary:
Up to £33,000 DOE
