We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are looking for someone who is interested in small animal work and who loves to build good client relationships with a caring nature. They are looking for someone who is confident in all aspects of surgery, client nursing consults and is a team player.
About them:
This is a large mixed practice with dedicated Small Animal, Farm and Equine departments. They are a progressive, well-equipped (TTA, TPLO, ASIF, laparoscopy, digital radiography, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound/doppler to name a few), RCVS accredited practice with a varied surgical and medical caseload. They have a full-time laboratory technician who will run a very large range of diagnostics “in-house” to provide an exceptional level of care for their patients.
They have an exceptional team, and you’d be an integral addition. Their Small Animal team comprises 8 Vets, 10 Nurses, and 14 Support team members. they are a friendly and diverse team, with several of them who have been here for many years.
You would cover all areas from Theatre, Prep, Kennels, Dispensary, Consults and reception
Rota:
Weekly rota is an average of 37.5hrs. Weeks alternate 4.5 days followed by 4 days. Weeknights and Out Of Hours equally shared. (approx. 1 in 5 Fri night sat morning or sat/sun if patients in the building)
Salary:
Up to £30,000 DOE
