Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who is looking for a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team.
Role:
You will rotate between kennels, consultations, and theatre duties, with opportunities to focus on anaesthesia and surgical procedures, from routine neuters to advanced orthopaedic surgeries.
Flexible Work Schedule:
They offer a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours to support a healthy work-life balance. The role is up to 23 hours per week, with flexible days and shifts. You will be required to cover 1 in 4 Saturdays. No out-of-hours or on-call duties are required.
About them:
Located in South Birmingham with excellent transport links, their practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including negative wound pressure therapy, class IV laser treatments, and laparoscopic equipment. They regularly host clinical meetings to foster innovation and maintain a progressive culture.
Join a team of 9 vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 2 VCAs, supported by dedicated receptionists. Their team includes specialists in feline medicine and surgery, with ongoing qualifications in cardiology and dentistry. They value mentorship, professional development, and community engagement, such as hosting first aid talks for charity.
About You:
They are looking for an RVN or experienced second-year student who excels in inpatient care and anaesthesia.
Salary:
Up to £32,000 FTE
