Our client who we are pleased to be working with is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. Their nurses have a range of interests including feline medicine, wound care, anaesthesia, and nutrition, and they’re passionate about supporting learning, development, and CPD.

About them:

Their vets bring a wealth of experience, from 4 to 23 years, with special interests in surgery, acupuncture, ophthalmology, and cardiology. They are a close-knit, innovative, and supportive team that values everyone’s input, ensuring all voices are heard during their clinical meetings.

They’re active in the local community, taking part in charity events and supporting local schools and STEM initiatives.

The Role:

They believe in focusing on nursing skills. You'll be involved in blood sampling, X-rays, lab work, patient care, and consultations in your dedicated consulting room. No OOH work, and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8am-1pm).

Applicant Requirements:

They are looking for a qualified RVN who has empathy with clients and their pets and a desire to use their nursing skills. The ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff is vital. They value teamwork and appreciate staff taking part in case discussion and contributing ideas to improve their practice. 

Hours:

Flexible hours (28-40 hours per week over 3, 4, or 5 days).

Salary:

Range £26,000 - £31,000 FTE (based on 40 hours).
