About the Practice
Our client, a well-established independent small animal practice in Ruislip, has been serving the local community for over 25 years. They are renowned for their exceptional care and dedication to offering tailored treatment to each patient. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and comprehensive laboratory services. The team consists of experienced clinicians, skilled nurses, and support staff, and they work closely with specialists in ophthalmology and orthopaedics. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a close-knit team in a practice known for its high standards and client satisfaction.
The Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the practice. You’ll be providing excellent patient care, assisting in consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures. The role involves a mix of clinical duties, including anesthesia monitoring, radiography, and providing nursing care to inpatients. You will work closely with the team to ensure every animal receives the highest standard of care, and you’ll be encouraged to make the most of the CPD opportunities available to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with surgeries and consultations
- Monitor anesthesia and manage post-op care
- Provide support in diagnostic imaging and laboratory services
- Deliver patient care and comfort
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support the clinic in maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
Working Pattern
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Flexible rota
- One in a few weekends, with a day off in lieu
