About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including working across multiple departments such as theatre, consults, pharmacy, emergency care, and inpatient management. If you have a keen interest in theatre and anaesthesia, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop and further your expertise in this area.

You’ll be part of a hands-on team, providing excellent care and using your full range of nursing skills, including schedule 3 activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from an experienced team of vets and nurses, with plenty of support and development opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care across various departments, including theatre, consults, emergency, and inpatient care.
  • Assist with anaesthesia, theatre procedures, and emergency cases.
  • Engage in schedule 3 activities and use your full nursing skillset.
  • Share responsibility for weekend shifts (1 in 5 weekends).
  • Work alongside a supportive team that fosters development and progression.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • 10-hour shifts from 7am to 8pm.
  • 1 in 5 weekends, with a great work-life balance.
