A leading veterinary medical center in New York City is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist. The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology and eligible for New York State licensure.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all radiation oncology cases.
Supervise and instruct technicians, interns, and residents.
Provide consultations to other hospital departments and referring veterinarians.
Deliver didactic lectures to interns, residents, and the veterinary community.
Team and Equipment:
Work alongside a board-certified radiation oncologist, a resident, and skilled support staff.
Access to cutting-edge equipment including:
Elekta Infinity Linac with advanced Agility MLC and SRS cones.
ProKnow software, Philips Intera 1.5T MRI, Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner.
iBEAM evo CT overlay table, diagnostic radiography, and ultrasonography.
On-site IDEXX laboratory, point-of-care analyzers, and a fully equipped Interventional Radiology Service.
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $230,000—$260,000.
