Position: Primary Care Clinical Director
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum (DOE)

Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be assisting an established Veterinary Hospital based in Swindon who are actively recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Care Clinical Director is sought to lead a forward-thinking team.
The Position:
· This role involves overseeing a team of 12 Vets, working alongside the Head Nurse to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery to clients and their pets.
· Responsibilities include maintaining the team, managing the ICU department, overseeing the rota, marketing, and managing the P&L for the Primary Care business, all while participating in the clinical rota with protected admin time.
The Hospital:
· The Hospital has a primary care team & multi-disciplinary referral team.
· The Hospital provides 24-hour emergency services and routine primary care for small animals.
· The primary care team works closely with the referral and ECC department, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and support a team of 12 Vets, ensuring high-quality care and efficient service.
· Collaborate with the Head Nurse to maintain strong working relationships between vets and nurses.
· Oversee the ICU department.
· Manage the rota, marketing strategies, and P&L for the Primary Care business.
· Participate in clinical work with allocated admin time for leadership duties.
