Registered Veterinary Nurse - Exceptional Opportunity in Emergency and Critical Care!
Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for emergency care? Our client is seeking an experienced RVN to join their supportive and professional night team. If you’re looking for a role that challenges and inspires you, this could be the perfect fit.
About the Role
As part of the night team, you’ll oversee and manage a variety of cases, including emergency and critical care, post-surgical recovery, and hospitalised patients requiring advanced treatment. Responsibilities include:
- Managing complex cases involving feeding tubes, wound drains, catheters, and advanced therapies.
- Monitoring intricate anaesthetics, including procedures such as caesarean sections, GDVs, and exploratory surgeries.
- Collaborating with a Vet and VCA during your shift, with support from twilight nurses to ensure seamless transitions.
The rota is designed for balance, with 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off, This provides ample time to recharge while maintaining a fulfilling career.

About You

- Strong skills in emergency and critical care nursing.
- Experience with advanced patient care techniques, including drains, catheters, and ventilator use.
- A certificate in emergency nursing or a strong interest in pursuing one, supported by the practice.
