We are working with a well established practice in Wexford for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon. Whether you're an experienced vet or a new graduate, you'll find robust support within this practice's experienced team as well as diverse caseloads with both small and large animals.

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
  • Weekends: 1-in-4 weekend cover.
  • Support: Comprehensive training and mentorship available for new graduates.
  • Salary: up to €60,000 DOE

We are seeking:

  • A VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligibility to register in Ireland).
  • Enthusiastic, proactive individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment.

About the Practice

This mixed veterinary practice provides a full range of services for small and large animals, including:

  • Two operating theatres, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and radiography.
  • Advanced diagnostic tools: endoscopy, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring.
  • Emergency care, pet health clubs, and wellness checks.
  • Collaboration with local animal rescue groups.

The team includes:

  • 8 Veterinary Surgeons, including specialists in Cardiology and Anaesthesia.
  • 5 Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants, and 8 Support Staff.
