​A visionary Senior Medical Director is sought to spearhead the growth and excellence of a hospital group dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine and enhancing the well-being of pets. In this pivotal role, the Senior Medical Director will embody the organization’s core values, ensuring every interaction reflects a commitment to providing top-tier care and unparalleled client experiences. This individual will lead, mentor, and develop the doctor and clinical teams, playing an instrumental role in cultivating a culture that consistently delivers exceptional service.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn production bonuses.

  • Clinical Role: This position will require 50-75% of time spent in a clinical role within the hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship and Coaching: Serve as a mentor and coach to nurture talent and foster a culture of continuous improvement among veterinary professionals.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with regional leadership to recruit, train, and develop veterinary teams.

  • Strategic Planning: Provide strategic insights to inform annual planning, budgeting, and goal-setting, aligning efforts with broader company objectives.

  • Culture Development: Develop and promote a culture that consistently raises the bar in veterinary care and sets new standards for excellence in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

  • Proven track record of leadership with a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience.

  • Ideally, at least 2 years of formal management and leadership experience.
