​An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Director to join a well-established, multi-specialty and emergency hospital in the greater Miami area. This role offers the chance to lead a talented team, drive positive change, and foster growth within a dynamic and cutting-edge veterinary practice.

Position Overview:

The Medical Director plays a key leadership role in the hospital, collaborating with practice management and the leadership team to promote high standards of patient care and client service. This individual will guide the hospital’s vision, maintain a positive workplace culture, and mentor veterinary staff to achieve medical excellence.

This multi-specialty and emergency hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, surgery, critical care, oncology, cardiology, and dermatology. Serving over 20,000 clients, the hospital works closely with approximately 350 local referring veterinarians. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the facility includes Vimago CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ventilators, ultrasounds, and endoscopic equipment, offering advanced diagnostic services such as cystoscopy, rhinoscopy, and bronchoscopy.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.

  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing before the start date.

  • Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.

  • Board Certified Veterinary Specialist.
