​An exciting position has opened for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at a recently established, state-of-the-art veterinary practice in West Bridgford. This role is ideal for a vet looking to advance their career and guide the direction of the practice alongside a supportive team.

About the Practice: The custom-built practice, opened last year, is equipped with modern facilities including three consultation rooms, separate dog and cat wards, and a staff area. The practice is located just a short drive from Nottingham city centre, with easy access to public transport and East Midlands Airport for convenient commuting.

The Role:

  • Full-time, 39 hours over four days.

  • No weekends required, with flexibility available to suit your schedule.

  • Lead and mentor the veterinary team, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.

  • Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, perform surgeries, and prescribe medication.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide expert advice on treatment plans.

  • Commitment to continued professional development and staying updated on advancements in veterinary medicine.

  • Empathy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex cases and situations.
