We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who are seeking a confident RVN to lead their exceptional nursing team.
About them:
This is a well-established small animal practice with their central hospital in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and 8 satellite clinics across South and West Yorkshire. They are supported by their sister referral hospital. Their mission is to deliver high-quality healthcare with a focus on Clinical Excellence, Client Care, Patient Care, Teamwork, Development, and Positivity.
Role Overview:
This role is ideal for someone with leadership aspirations and will focus 95% on clinical duties and 5% on administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lead Vet to achieve objectives set by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Work with the Clinical Nursing Manager to support new nurses through their induction.
Maintain and enhance clinical standards within the practice.
Hours:
Full-time, with flexible rota patterns available. Includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. No night shifts.
Experience and Qualifications:
They are looking for an RVN with 1-2 years of post-RCVS registration experience. Previous line management experience is beneficial but not essential; they are also open to supporting an RVN looking to take their first step into a leadership role.
Salary:
From £31,000 per annum
