Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be representing a modern, well equipped Veterinary Practice in Poole who are seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to join an exceptional team on a full-time basis.  

This leadership role is perfect for a forward-thinking and passionate veterinary surgeon looking to advance their career and take on new challenges. 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead and support a team of 6 skilled Veterinary Surgeons.

·         Uphold and promote the highest standards of clinical excellence.

·         Provide excellent patient care while fostering a supportive environment for the veterinary team.

·         Engage with a varied and busy caseload, utilising state-of-the-art equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

·         Encourage and support further study and professional qualifications among team members. 

The Practice:

·         The Veterinary Practice boasts a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, all committed to outstanding patient and client care as well as personal and professional growth.

·         The work environment is designed to be open, safe, and trusting, ensuring all team members feel valued and supported. 

Work Schedule and Benefits:

·         Competitive salary range: £65,000 - £75,000, dependent on experience (DOE).

·         Benefits include private healthcare, bonus scheme, 6 weeks holiday (pro-rata), a day off for your birthday, and paid overtime and breaks.

·         40 hours per week (4-day week) with 1 in 5 weekends (Saturdays) worked.

·         Part-time and flexible working patterns available to promote a healthy work-life balance.
