We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a Head Nurse to join their award-winning team. As the sole Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) at the practice, your responsibilities will include running nurse consultations, managing anaesthesia, supporting their Practice Manager, and contributing to the overall development of the practice. You’ll handle a diverse small animal caseload, including some exotics. They strongly encourage personal and professional growth, with CPD funding available for certificates and further skills development.
About their RCVS-Accredited Practice:
Located in Southeast London by the Thames, their RCVS-accredited small animal practice offers excellent transport links and nearby green spaces. They are fully equipped with a laboratory suite, sterile theatre, and radiography, along with a bright reception area and two consulting rooms.
You’ll be joining a small, friendly, and experienced team consisting of a Practice Manager, Veterinary Surgeon, and Receptionist.
Work-Life Balance – No Weekends or OOH:
This full-time role offers a 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, with no weekends or out-of-hours work. They are open to discussing part-time hours and flexible working arrangements.
Salary:
Up to £35,500 DOE
