A progressive and well-established veterinary hospital in Austin, Texas, is looking for an Exotics Veterinarian to join their team. This hospital, part of a renowned veterinary network, provides high-quality care for birds, small exotics, and companion animals. The practice is known for its commitment to client service and patient care, offering a fast-paced, bond-centered environment that serves over 4,000 active clients.
About the Hospital The hospital specializes in Wellness, Dentistry, Diagnostics/Imaging, and Avian/Small Exotic healthcare, while also providing care for dogs and cats. The facility is equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, advanced anesthetic monitoring, and extensive orthopedic and soft tissue surgical capabilities.
Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Serving Neighborhoods: Milwood, Balcones Woods, Oaks of Jollyville, Great Hills, Arboretum
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for a variety of exotic species as well as companion animals.
Build strong relationships with clients to foster the human-animal bond.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Experience & Skills Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
Active state veterinary license (in good standing) prior to start date.
DEA license or eligibility.
