Location: Lincoln

Salary: Up to £95,000 DOE + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + £5,000 Relocation Allowance

Lloyd & Cowan is delighted to be representing a Veterinary Hospital in Lincoln who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Director/Veterinary Surgeon to lead its team.  

This role involves a combination of consulting, surgery, dentistry, in-patient care, and providing clinical leadership to the veterinary team. The Clinical Director will mentor and upskill Vets and Nurses, supported by an experienced team managing the operational aspects of the practice. 

Rota

·         Schedule: 4 days per week, averaging 40 hours.

·         No OOH: In-house Vets Now covers out-of-hours, ensuring timely finishes.

·         Weekend Work: Saturday mornings on a rota basis; no Sundays or Bank Holidays. 

Salary

·         Salary: Up to £95,000 DOE with additional benefits.

·         Flexibility: Both part-time and full-time applications are welcome.

·         Welcome Bonus: £5,000 for successful candidates & £5,000 Relocation Allowance. 

The Hospital

·         Dedicated wards for dogs, cats, and exotics.

·         Two operating theatres and an on-site laboratory.

·         Digital X-ray suite with Bucky table and grid.

·         Dedicated dental theatre with dental radiography.

·         Mylab ultrasound with abdominal and cardiac probes.

·         Laparoscopic equipment, endoscope, and bronchoscope.

·         Orthopaedic kit, electrocautery, and cryotherapy.

·         Air-conditioning throughout the hospital.

·         Several certificate holders in the team.

·         Senior Vets serve as mentors, and regular team meetings. 

Requirements

·         Member of the RCVS.

·         Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm for providing gold-standard service.

·         Reliable team player with significant clinical experience.

·         Proven experience in leading a high-performing clinical team.

·         Competence in people management, including conducting appraisals and one-on-one meetings. 

Salary & benefits

·         Up to £95,000 DOE + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + £5,000 Relocation Allowance
