Join a large 24-hour referral hospital and collaborate with an international team of specialists in various fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Treat and manage cases of companion animal patients referred to the Anesthesiology Service.
Participate in clinical teaching, including stabilisation, diagnostic workup, therapy of patients, time management, veterinary economics, client service, and communication.
Manage a diverse and challenging client population.
Develop, review, and ensure protocols for vets and support staff are consistent with current best practices.
Provide training for juniors, vet students, and lead research as required, with adequate paid off-clinic time for course and lecture preparation.
Provide training and guidance to the Anaesthesia Vet Nurse team.
Working Hours and Pattern:
11-hour shifts (8 am – 7 pm) with a one-hour break.
No on-call duty.
