A progressive exotic/avian and small animal hospital is in search of a full-time veterinarian with excellent communication skills. This clinic is looking for a confident, compassionate, and highly skilled associate to join their healthcare team. The successful candidate will have the freedom to utilize their extensive diagnostic capabilities, supported by a highly trained team accustomed to maximizing their potential.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and eager to teach, learn, and excel. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent client service abilities, and a high level of communication proficiency are required.
About the Practice
This clinic sees small exotics, birds, dogs, and cats, providing a beautiful and well-equipped facility. The practice has a special interest in wellness, dentistry, diagnostics/imaging, and avian and small exotic healthcare. With over 4,000 active clients, the clinic fosters a bond-centered environment that is exciting, fast-paced, and professionally challenging. Their primary focus is on client service and patient care, utilizing advanced technologies such as ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, multi-modal anesthetic monitors for every patient under anesthesia, and extensive orthopedic and soft tissue capabilities to ensure excellent care.
Experience & Skills Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of employment, prior to the start date.
Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
