ACVS Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon – New York City
A leading veterinary hospital in New York City is seeking an ACVS Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a dynamic role in a cutting-edge, academic clinical setting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in orthopedic surgery, including arthroscopy and joint replacement, and contribute to advancing the Surgical Residency Program at one of the world’s busiest veterinary hospitals.
Responsibilities:
Lead the surgical service (soft tissue and orthopedics) with a focus on patient care and clinical training of residents and interns.
Participate in general surgery service activities including meetings, seminars, journal clubs, and teaching rounds.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the referring veterinarian community.
Qualifications:
ACVS board-certified or board-eligible.
Completed a 3-year residency in small animal surgery or equivalent.
Eligible for New York State licensure.
Team and Facilities:
Join a team of four board-certified surgeons, three anesthesiologists, and experienced support staff.
Work in a new state-of-the-art surgical suite with five operating rooms, advanced imaging services (64-slice CT and 1.5-T MRI), and specialized equipment for various procedures.
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $350,000—$400,000.
