Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a thriving and well-established independent veterinary practice in the heart of Clifton, Nottingham. If you have an Orthopaedic specialty/bias this would be a great advantage for this particular role.
About the Practice: This practice places a strong emphasis on creating a positive and enjoyable work environment, ensuring that every team member enjoys their job while providing top-notch care. The practice handles a variety of complex cases daily, with allocated time for follow-ups, inpatient care, and investigative work. Routine surgeries are limited, and consultations are run in 15-minute slots, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload.
Led by a Practice Owner with 24 years of veterinary experience, you will join a fantastic team consisting of 3 Vets, 5 Nurses (3 RVNs, 2 SVNs), a dedicated reception team, and a practice manager. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, dental equipment, laser therapy, and an in-house lab.
Clifton is a vibrant residential area with excellent transport links to Nottingham city centre and easy access to major motorways. The practice is also conveniently located near bus and tram stops.
What We’re Looking For:
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of post-graduation experience
An orthopaedic interest would be a plus, but all specialisms are encouraged and supported
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A team player who is confident in delivering high-quality small animal consulting, medicine, and surgery and can maintain excellent client relationships
1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota basis
