Pig Veterinary Surgeon 

Are you an experienced or aspiring pig vet looking for an exciting role with the flexibility to manage your own schedule? A well-established company are seeking a dedicated Pig Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with farming clients, providing top-tier care while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own diary.

About the Role:

  • Extensive travel to various farms across the region, supporting a range of pig farming clients

  • Focus on herd health management, disease prevention, treatment plans, and welfare improvement

  • Involvement in diagnostics, routine health checks, and emergency care

  • Strong emphasis on client communication and collaboration to enhance productivity and health outcomes

  • Flexibility to manage your own diary with a Monday-Friday schedule

Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree and RCVS registration

  • Previous experience or a keen interest in pig medicine is ideal (training can be provided)

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Full UK driving license is essential, as travel will be a large part of the role
