Night Veterinary Surgeon – Join a Premier 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital in Yorkshire
Are you an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for an opportunity to make a difference while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance? A well-established 24-hour hospital in Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated Night Vet to join their skilled and passionate team on a 7-on / 14-off rota.
The Role:
- Hours: 7pm to 9am
- Rota: 7 nights on / 14 nights off, offering plenty of downtime
- Location: Beautiful Yorkshire with easy access to the North York Moors, East Yorkshire coastline, and cities such as York, Leeds, and Beverley
What You’ll Be Working With:
This modern hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- 24-hour hospitalisation with separate wards for dogs, cats, exotics, and isolation
- Advanced surgical equipment with three operating theatres
- Excellent diagnostic imaging tools: ultrasound, Doppler, digital X-ray, endoscopy, CT suite, ECG
- Hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill, and laser therapy for advanced rehabilitation care
- An in-house lab for prompt results
- A fully staffed and dedicated night team of experienced Vets and RVNs

- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Strong clinical leadership skills with experience mentoring teams
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional care to patients and clients
- Confidence in working autonomously on night shifts
- Experience in promoting a progressive clinical culture
