​An emergency animal hospital in Central Arkansas is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service facility offers specialized care for unexpected illnesses or injuries in dogs and cats. Equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy, the hospital ensures fast diagnostics and treatment. With a well-stocked inventory that includes snake antivenom and transfusion products, it is the only emergency clinic in Central Arkansas that operates during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff

  • Foster a learning environment for team members and visiting veterinary students

  • Triage emergency patients and create treatment plans

  • Continue care for specialty patients during nights and weekends

  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records

  • Communicate clearly with clients and support staff

  • Collaborate with referral partners and specialists during morning rounds

  • Support a Fear-Free culture within the hospital
