Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment currently has the following Locum opportunities in the UK & Ireland. 

Small animal vet required in County Durham, UK - ASAP ongoing.   
  • Working a 4 or 5 day week.       
  • Weekdays are 8am-6pm, weekends are 8-6 also with evening checks of any in-patients.     
  • 1:5 weekend rota - sole charge on weekend but open for emergencies only on Sat pm and Sunday.   
  • No overnight on call.    
  • Can provide accommodation.    
 Large animal vet required in County Durham, UK - ASAP ongoing.  
  • LA Locum Vet needed in County Durham ASAP. 
  • Shifts are 0830-1800 working 4.5 days per week. 
  • Will include 1:5 nights on call and weekends (2:5 during March). 
  • Will consider part time hours. 
  • Accommodation can be provided if needed. 
Large Animal or Mixed Locum vet for a practice in Co.Louth Ireland. 
  • Role can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
  • Opportunity for Permanent position.
  • Would consider a strong graduate. 
  • On the LA side - good mix of Dairy, Suckler. Herd health and TB testing both in the ROI and NI
  • SA - experienced team (1 vet with over 20 years experience), lots of interesting cases. Great facility.
  • 1:4 Rota. 
  • Great place to work, friendly team with great links to Dublin (50 mins) & Newry (15mins)
Large Animal Vet - Co.Tyrone
  • This practice is looking for cover to begin asap for 4-6 weeks.
  • Accommodation can be provided.
  • Shifts 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays on rota 9am - 4pm.
  • Willingness to participate in the 1 in 5 OOH would be an advantage but is not essential.
Mixed Vet - Welsh / Shropshire border
  • 50/50 split with LA and SA
  • Duties will include both consultations and ops with participation in the Ooh rota ( 1 in 3 weekdays and 1 in 4 weekends.)
  • Shifts will be 8am - 5pm 4 days per week with 1 day from 8am - 7pm.
  • Saturdays mornings are worked as part of the Ooh rota from 08:30 - 1pm. Sole charge only when on call.                 
  • Accommodation can be arranged if required but will not be on site so access to own will be transport essential.  
Small Animal Vet required for ad-hoc dates in Nottinghamshire.
  • 100% small animal
  • A range of dates available in April, May and June inc weekdays and weekends.
 
Small Animal Vet required for ad-hoc dates in Yorkshire.
  • 100% small animal
  • A range of dates available right through the summer inc weekends.
Small Animal Vet required for ad-hoc dates in Co.Armagh / Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland

  • Range of dates in May inc weekends
