You'll play a crucial part in promoting and maintaining the health of animals, from conducting consultations and surgical operations to offering preventive healthcare advice and medical treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct consultations, surgical operations, and investigative procedures
Follow and reinforce company protocols
Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, and general care
Communicate promptly with clients, providing updates on hospitalized patients and reporting laboratory results
Collaborate effectively with colleagues
Undertake CPD to enhance skills
Perform routine soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, including dental procedures
Operate diagnostic equipment such as ultrasound and radiography machines
About You:
3+ years of small animal experience
Proficiency in conducting advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries
Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g., X-ray machines) and anaesthesia procedures
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Patience and a genuine love for animals
