Our client, a leading veterinary practice in the scenic Waitomo district, is in search of an experienced veterinarian who shares a passion for dairy, sheep, and beef farming.
This role offers a diverse case load and a truly mixed practice work environment.
Enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where most days you will find yourself travelling the picturesque hill country roads, visiting farms of various sizes and shapes.
The region offers an array of outdoor activities, from surfing and fishing on the west coast to exploring the timber trail and enjoying hunting and tramping adventures.
What's on offer:
Salary from NZD$95,000
1-in-6 after-hours rotation
5 weeks of annual leave.
A Day in lieu after a weekend on call, along with additional financial remuneration for after-hours callouts.
Provided work vehicle, mobile phone and laptop
Generous CPD allowance for professional development.
One day per week on companion animal roster, with four days on the large animal roster.

About you:
2+ years of experience
Eligible for registration in New Zealand
A confident communicator who can engage effectively with the team and farming clients.
A passion for large animals and farming, with proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery
